El Instituto Teológico Compostelano (agregado de la Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca) presenta para el próximo curso académico 2021-22 el segundo curso on-line El Hecho Jacobeo: espiritualidad, patrimonio y turismo. Sin duda, el fenómeno de las peregrinaciones está presente en todas las culturas y religiones desde el inicio de la civilización humana. La peregrinación es búsqueda de sentido y por ello seguirá siendo relevante en un mundo post COVID-19.
En los últimos años la peregrinación a Santiago de Compostela ha adquirido una dimensión globalizadora; así lo demuestra el número y procedencia de los peregrinos. Esta titulación pretende ofrecer un conocimiento y medios adecuados para entender y conservar este fenómeno en sus tres dimensiones fundamentales: su profundo sentido humano y espiritual, la conservación del patrimonio que ha generado, y su impacto en el turismo. The Instituto Teológico Compostelano (ITC, attached to the Pontifical University of Salamanca, UPSA) presents for the next academic year 2021-22 the second on-line course “The Camino of Santiago de Compostela: spirituality, heritage and tourism”. The phenomenon of pilgrimages is certainly present in all cultures and religions since the beginning of human civilization. The pilgrimage is a search for meaning and it will continue for this reason to be relevant in a post-pandemic world.
In recent years the pilgrimage to the tomb of the Apostle St. James in Santiago de Compostela (Spain) has acquired a global dimension. This is so by the number and origin of the pilgrims. This degree aims to offer adequate knowledge and means to understand this phenomenon in its three fundamental dimensions: its deep human and spiritual sense, the conservation of the heritage it has generated, and its impact on tourism.
